Offline-First & 100% Private: Daily Notes & Checklist is built with a strict offline-first architecture. All your notes, checklists, categories, and settings are stored locally on your device and are never sent to external servers. We do not collect, store, or share your personal data.
1. Information We Collect
Because Daily Notes & Checklist is completely local-only, we do not require account creation, registration, or sign-in. As a result, we collect zero (0) personal data. Specifically:
- No Personal Identifiers: We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or device identifiers.
- No Note Content Access: Your notes, checklists, and labels are stored securely in a local database (Hive) on your device. We have no access to them, and they are never uploaded to the cloud or shared with third parties.
- No Analytics or Tracking: The application does not use any third-party tracking, advertising SDKs, or crash reporting services that collect identifier data.
2. Permissions Requested
The application runs without requiring any sensitive device permissions. You do not need to grant access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or external storage to use the core notes functionality.
- Internet Access: The app does not request or require background internet access to function. If you choose to open links or documentation in the app, standard device-level browser routing is used.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your notes and checklists are stored in your device's secure local sandbox using a lightweight, high-performance database. Your data is protected by the operating system's standard sandboxing mechanisms, preventing other apps on your device from accessing your data.
Note: Since your data is stored strictly on your device, deleting the application or clearing the application's storage will permanently remove all your notes and checklists. We recommend exporting your data regularly using the built-in "Export Data" feature if you wish to keep backups.
4. Third-Party Services
We do not integrate any third-party APIs, libraries, or SDKs that gather or process user information. Our application is clean, private, and self-contained.
5. Children's Privacy
Our app does not collect any personal data, and is therefore completely safe for children. We do not knowingly solicit or collect data from children under the age of 13.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Since we do not collect user contact information, we cannot notify you of changes individually. Any updates will be posted directly on this web page. We encourage you to review this page periodically for any changes.
